Reclaim

We will reclaim our bodies
We will reclaim ourselves from our despair
Stop pretending to save us, we don’t need your sympathies
You all oppress us men. Black, Brown, White, whatever
‘Freedom’, a term invested by and secured only for some

We’re reclaiming our bodies
From the claws of a dirty past
A dirty story, untold, and lost
Folded away into murky corners of history
The struggle goes on
But we will get there

Come on lasses!
