We? We imagined

My mind is an ocean, waves beating at each other
Then slowing down
We are in a city, there is lighting and darkness
And we make out behind a hammering beat
The sun sets and then rises
And we are still at our hopeless place
Your eyes have dilated,
The rooms are dark and condensed
The air is vaporised with the bodies of the dead
All there, tightly compacted
I go to these steamy rooms for one night searching
But I come home empty handed like the salesman

In the air
More dead people enter
We stare at walls
The coloured walls, they are exotic,
The pictures melt into each other, so do words
We stare at them for ages

Are you insane?
Who is we
There is no we, there is only you,
We? We imagined
