Don’t Forget

Don’t forgot to remember the death of millions from the liberal paradigm
Barack Obama you say, is the first Black president,
That’s job done to you in terms of race relations, you wash your hands
Don’t forget to remember the free floating fallacy that is liberalism
It needs an authoritarian sovereign dear, and that my dear, is not liberal

Barack Obama you say is the first Black president,
Job done you say in terms of race relations
Tell that to the kids in Harlem
Who can’t get a job with their black accents
And their black clothes,
And their black food
An their black culture
Their black stereotype

You want to climb the same ladder of success do you
Don’t make me laugh
Obama didn’t come from your slum, your ghetto
Liberalism is a free floating fallacy
Like religion it is a promise that things will get better
And then you are dead thinking you didn’t try hard enough
At the end of the day, you did try hard enough dear,
It’s just your blackness got in the way

Hard luck love

It’s a pretty shit life.

Don’t forgot to remember the death of millions from the liberal paradigm
Barack Obama you say, is the first Black president,
That’s job done to you in race relations, you are drying your hands
But please do tell me why I’m unemployed
Please do explain why the market has determined my un-insurability
Who has created skyrocketing car insurance. Not the individual, but the collective
Why am I living in a slum, surrounded by black and brown people
Why are those plush suburbs filled with clean white people
Liberalism is authoritarian dear, it is global fascism also

You are hungry dear,
You have to turn your lights off, or the state turns it off to save energy
And face
Whose fault is that love
Not yours
But mine

I am the West, I am greedy as fuck
But liberalism has trapped me as much as it has trapped you
The difference?
At least early death puts you out of your misery
The welfare state extracts my blood through a syringe.
